Awesome Inc has trained more than 1,500 students to code since 2013. This Kentucky-based company offers a full-time web development bootcamp. Awesome Inc alumni have launched careers as software engineers, software developers, web developers, and UX/UI designers.

The full-time coding bootcamp utilizes a flexible blended learning format to prepare individuals for junior web development positions. This bootcamp features remote learning for a four-week introductory period, followed by in-person sessions at its Lexington campus for the remainder of the program.

Students complete 10 projects over 16 weeks using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, and GitHub. Learners receive personal attention, and the bootcamp boasts a student-to-teacher ratio of 10-to-1.

Graduates continue to receive job support for up to six months after completing the bootcamp. Career services include introductions to potential employers and interview training. Learners who pay tuition upfront qualify for a money-back guarantee if they do not find a job within six months.

Awesome Inc Courses

For the first four weeks of the Awesome Inc coding bootcamp, students complete remote prework. During this time, learners in the online bootcamp study part time and complete assignments with Git, GitHub, HTML, and CSS.

The remaining 12 weeks require full-time study with in-person work and projects using JavaScript, Bootstrap, and React. Students also practice back-end development with PHP, SQL, and Laravel. In the final four weeks, participants concentrate on completing a project using agile methodology.

Awesome Inc also teaches adults web programming basics and front-end development in a nine-week introduction to web development program that follows a part-time schedule. Additionally, Awesome Inc provides coding bootcamps for kids.

Awesome Inc Student Outcomes

Many coding bootcamps publish student outcomes, such as graduation and employment rates. However, not all bootcamps verify these outcomes with an independent agency. As a result, students should carefully analyze data that has been self-reported by coding bootcamps. If it is unclear how a bootcamp collects, measures, and/or defines its outcomes data, prospective students should contact the bootcamp directly to ask for more information.

According to Awesome Inc, from 2016-2018, 98% of graduates found jobs within six months of completing their bootcamp. Graduates have found local jobs in Kentucky at UK HealthCare, Bastian Solutions, and Studio 34 Productions.
