Ironhack coding bootcamp originated in Spain in 2013. The bootcamp provider now offers remote and in-person bootcamps to students in Miami and around the world. This international bootcamp prepares students to become web developers, UX/UI designers, cybersecurity analysts, and data analysts in as few as nine weeks. Graduates have found positions at Accenture, Google, Twitter, BBC, and GE.

Through workshops, webinars, and job hunting drills, learners gain the career skills they need to navigate the job market. Students also gain access to more than 600 partner companies and one-on-one help from a career coach.

Students build their portfolios through bootcamps that include about 20 students, an instructor, and a teaching assistant. Prospective students complete prework to ensure that every learner in a cohort progresses at the same pace. Part-time bootcamps allow students to continue earning a living while they study. Part-time programs begin every six months and full-time programs begin every three months.

Ironhack Courses

Ironhack features four bootcamps in web development, data analytics, UX/UI design, and cybersecurity.

Remote bootcamps follow a live, synchronous format. Full-time online learners meet virtually Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Part-time learners meet twice during the work week from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bootcamps do not require exams, and instructors do not give grades. Instead, students receive feedback on their exercises and projects. Each bootcamp features modules. Modules often culminate with students creating projects for their portfolio, which they present to the class.

Ironhack Admissions Process

Ironhack coding bootcamp does not have any prerequisites to apply beyond requiring that applicants have a passion for the subject matter. Prospective students interested in applying to a bootcamp can take webinars to see if the format is right for them.

Interested candidates must apply online. Eligible candidates then participate in a personal interview with the admissions team. Following the interview, prospective students must pass a technical assessment. If learners pass the assessment, they put down a deposit and complete the prework before the bootcamp begins.

Ironhack Payment Options

Bootcamp payment options and costs for bootcamps vary according to the bootcamp. At Ironhack, financing options include loans, income share agreements, and installments and vary by country. Students at the Miami campus can pay upfront or apply for a loan.

Students must pay to hold their spot in a course within three days of being admitted. The cost to reserve a seat depends on a student's location.

true Loans

Ironhack partners with Skills Fund and Climb Credit to offer financing options for students who cannot pay upfront and want to take out a bootcamp loan.
