Kable Academy offers four bootcamps that provide job-ready tech skills. For the web development and cybersecurity bootcamps, students can choose between a 12-week full-time option or a 24-week part-time option in the evenings. Students can also choose from a four-week full-time or eight-week part-time IT support program and an eight-week full-time or 16-week part-time network support program.

The bootcamps are located in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, and are taught by industry professionals. Kable Academy's 600-hour web development and cybersecurity cohort bootcamps include about 400 hours of in-class instruction. Students must attend 90% of the time to remain in the bootcamp. Each program comes with one paid certification and career guidance.

The Cybersecurity Bootcamp focuses on security, network, and IT support. Students learn about computer hardware and software as well as security measures, including types of attacks and implementing secure systems. This bootcamp prepares students for several certifications, including CompTIA IT Fundamentals, Security+, and Network+.

Kable Academy's web development bootcamp covers full-stack web development and responsive web design. Students receive instruction in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and React as well as Salesforce application concepts. Participants must complete four hours of pre-work prior to the bootcamp.

Kable Academy Admissions Process

Kable Academy's simple admissions process entails emailing an application with basic contact information. An admissions coach then contacts the applicant and schedules a 30-minute phone or video interview. Candidates also take technical and logic-based assessments. Beginners are welcome, and admissions officers can help determine the right bootcamp for your career goals.

Kable Academy Payment Options

  • Upfront: Tuition is due in full before the first day of class. The bootcamps consist of three phases that cost $5,000 each. Students receive a $500 discount after completing all three phases.
  • GI Bill®: While Kable Academy does not accept the GI Bill, their Salute to Service program offers veterans $350 a week for 12 weeks, which they can apply to their tuition.
  • Income Share Agreement: According to Kable Academy, 80% of their students qualify for their income share agreement (ISA). An ISA allows students to start with no money down and then start making payments after finding a tech job that pays $40,000 or more.
  • Scholarships: The Kable Academy reports that 85% of its students qualify for scholarships or grants. Assistance programs from Ohio enable students to receive $6,500 or more, depending on their county of residence.
