Joan M. Pabón

Joan Pabón is a bilingual Spanish–English writer and editor with over a decade of experience in personal finance, insurance, and consumer topics. She specializes in researching complex subjects and translating them into clear, accessible content for everyday readers.

Joan previously served as the General Finance and Insurance Editor at Money.com, where she wrote and edited consumer-focused guides and explainers on personal loans, insurance, banking, and credit. She is also a founding member of TRADUCOOP, the first language worker cooperative in Puerto Rico.

Joan holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature and a master's degree in Translation Studies from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
