Norma Feriz-Gordon is a state-certified, bilingual, professional school counselor who works with students in grades 9-12 and their families. Norma has worked across hundreds of schools to improve school culture, address matriculation milestones, and establish partnerships that support students and families in the postsecondary planning process — all in her former role on the College and Career Planning Team with the Office of Postsecondary Readiness within the central office in the NYC Department of Education.
Norma is also an adjunct instructor at New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development in the applied psychology department.
