In addition to the student discounts listed below, visit sites like UNiDAYS, which connects students with dozens of discounts. Make sure to check for discounts through your school and in your community as well.

Our list includes the best student discounts for streaming services, laptops, travel, clothing, and everything else a college student may need.

Entertainment Student Discounts

Did you know that college students spend $2.4 billion a year on entertainment? Fortunately, discounts can help them cut back on entertainment spending.

When it comes to streaming services, one of the best deals you can get is the Hulu student discount. College students spend just $1.99 per month for access to Hulu.

What about a Netflix student discount or an HBO Max student discount? Unfortunately, Netflix doesn't offer a student discount, and HBO phased out their discount plan.

You can, however, search around for a Disney+ student discount. Students also qualify for a Paramount+ discount of 25% off. What's more, YouTube Premium offers a student discount of $6.99 a month.

Sometimes, combining student discounts can add up to even more savings. Through the Amazon Prime Student program, you can get Showtime for 99 cents a month. Similarly, an Apple Music student subscription gives you free access to Apple TV.

Don't forget to check out movie theater and sports discounts in your area. For example, Cinemark offers student discounts with ID at participating locations. Many major league sports teams offer college student discounts, too.

Laptop Student Discounts

Today, 90% of college students use a laptop. And the good news for learners who need a new laptop or who want to upgrade their equipment? Students qualify for all kinds of laptop discounts.

The Apple student discount applies to laptops, iPads, and other Mac products. And, yes, that includes a MacBook Air student discount. The education discount typically knocks 10% off the price of Apple products.

If you're not a Mac person, check out the laptop student discounts from Dell. Various discounts are available on laptops and other items. Students can also qualify for up to 10% off on Microsoft products, including Surface devices and Xbox consoles. Finally, Lenovo offers 5% off laptops.

Software and Electronics Student Discounts

Technology savings don't end with laptops — college students can qualify for many software and electronics discounts as well.

The Best Buy student discount includes deals on computers, video games, headphones, tablets, and cellphones. Students can even score discounts on TVs and appliances.

When it comes to software discounts, students can't get much better than the Microsoft Office student discount. With this, learners can use the Office 365 suite for free.

Students also qualify for a discount on Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. While users typically pay $52.99 a month, students pay $19.99 a month.

For students in tech fields, the GitHub Student Developer Pack includes design and development tools. And students who verify their school enrollment pay nothing for the service.

Lastly, Squarespace offers a 50% discount for students looking to create their own website.

Music Student Discounts

Music streaming services brought in a whopping $13.4 billion in 2020. Fortunately, many of the largest streaming services offer student discounts that can save you money on music and more.

The Spotify student discount is by far one of the best bundles available. You can get Spotify Premium, Hulu, and Showtime, all for just $4.99 a month.

You can also check out Apple Music, which costs $4.99 a month and includes Apple TV. Or there's TIDAL, which offers a 50% discount for college students.

Clothing and Apparel Student Discounts

College students can create an entire wardrobe by shopping only at clothing stores that offer student discounts.

Stores like Aeropostale, American Eagle, and H&M all offer student discounts. You can save up to 15% at Aeropostale and H&M, or up to 20% at American Eagle.

Both Calvin Klein and J.Crew also offer discounts — up to 10% off at Calvin Klein and 15% off in-store and online purchases at J.Crew with a student ID.

You can stock up on athletic wear with a discount as well. The Nike student discount grants a 10% discount for college students, while Adidas offers up to 15% off for students.

Those stores outside your budget? Many Goodwill store locations offer discounts one day a week for students with a valid student ID. Contact your local Goodwill store to find out if that location offers a student discount and, if so, for what day and how much.

Travel Student Discounts

Whether you're staying local or crossing borders, students can often find travel discounts.

For local travel, check with your school or public transit agency to learn more about public transit discounts. Many colleges partner with transit agencies to offer special discounts.

If you're taking a longer trip, check out Greyhound, which offers 10% off on tickets for college students. Similarly, the Amtrak student discount gives students 15% off on train tickets and rail passes.

For vacations and international travel, explore the discounts on StudentUniverse.

Shopping Student Discounts

Need to decorate your dorm room? Or are you looking for cheap groceries? Many major online retailers and big-box stores offer student discounts.

Check out Amazon Prime Student for discounts on everything from shipping to music and even food. After six free months, Prime accounts cost $69 a year for a student account. That fee includes access to faster delivery, Prime video, Amazon music, and free food delivery.

Amazon even partners with StudentUniverse to give members up to 10% off the cost of flights and hotels.

College students can also score 15% off with the Target student discount. To claim this discount, students must sign up for a Target.com account and verify their student status. The discount applies to clothes, food, school supplies, furnishings, and other items Target sells.

Finally, Bed Bath and Beyond offers 20% off for students who sign up for the College Savings Pass.
