Jennifer is an editor with a master’s in journalism from The University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s in history from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She spent nearly 8 years working in South Korea, teaching students English conversation and grammar from elementary school to university for 5 years and working as a curriculum developer for the R&D team at an education company in Seoul for almost 3 years.

On the side, Jennifer enjoys cooking and baking, cycling, writing to friends, reading, practicing and teaching herself the violin, and reviewing books for an independent paper in Seattle. She finds any excuse to eat good food with good company.
